TikTok Events API, ready in minutes

Whence sends your sales and checkout steps to TikTok from the server, so TikTok sees the orders its ads bring when the browser pixel misses them.

What Whence sends

Each step leaves the server as it happens, under the name TikTok expects. You choose the steps in Whence.

Counted once

The browser pixel and the Events API share the same event ID, so TikTok counts each event once.

Whence can also run the TikTok pixel in your store’s browser, with the same event ID as the server event.

Match quality, in plain sight

For each TikTok destination, Whence shows the share of events that carried each customer detail over the last seven days, so you can see what helps TikTok recognize your buyers.

Set it up

Install Whence on your store

The Shopify app turns on in one click. Elsewhere, the WordPress plugin or one script.

Let Whence find your pixel ID

Whence reads your store’s home page and fills in the ID of the TikTok pixel already installed. Otherwise: TikTok Ads Manager > Tools > Events > Data sources: the code shown under your pixel name (e.g. CUSG5HBC77UD11VVRQEG).

Paste your events API access token

Events Manager > your pixel > Settings > Generate Access Token. You must be Admin or Operator of the ad account.

Send a test

Add your test event code and Whence sends a test event, then shows what TikTok answered.

Send your sales to TikTok from the server

One month free, no card. Whence finds your pixel; you paste one key.
