Meta Conversions API, without the setup work

Whence sends your sales and checkout steps to Meta from the server, next to your Meta pixel, so Meta counts the orders its ads bring even when the browser blocks the pixel.

What Whence sends

Each step leaves the server as it happens, under the name Meta expects. You choose the steps in Whence.

Counted once

Each event carries the same event ID and event name in the browser pixel and in the Conversions API, so Meta keeps one and drops the copy. If the Facebook & Instagram app already sends server events for your store, Whence tells you, so you can turn its data sharing off.

Whence can also run the Meta pixel in your store’s browser, with the same event ID as the server event.

Match quality, in plain sight

For each Meta destination, Whence shows the share of events that carried each customer detail over the last seven days, so you can see what helps Meta recognize your buyers.

When Meta returns it, Whence also shows Meta’s own Event Match Quality score, as Meta gives it.

Set it up

Install Whence on your store

The Shopify app turns on in one click. Elsewhere, the WordPress plugin or one script.

Let Whence find your pixel ID

Whence reads your store’s home page and fills in the ID of the Meta pixel already installed. Otherwise: Events Manager > Data sources > your pixel > Settings: the number under the pixel name.

Paste your conversions API access token

Leave empty if Meta Ads is connected in Whence (Connections): Whence then sends with that connection. Otherwise: Events Manager > your pixel > Settings > Conversions API > Generate access token.

Send a test

Add your test event code and Whence sends a test event, then shows what Meta answered.

Send your sales to Meta from the server

One month free, no card. Whence finds your pixel; you paste one key.
