Reddit Conversions API, sent from the server
Whence sends your sales and checkout steps to Reddit from the server, so Reddit sees the orders its ads bring.
What Whence sends
Each step leaves the server as it happens, under the name Reddit expects. You choose the steps in Whence.

Counted once
The Reddit pixel and the Conversions API share the same conversion ID, so Reddit counts each event once.
Whence can also run the Reddit pixel in your store’s browser, with the same event ID as the server event.
Match quality, in plain sight
For each Reddit destination, Whence shows the share of events that carried each customer detail over the last seven days, so you can see what helps Reddit recognize your buyers.
Set it up
Install Whence on your store
The Shopify app turns on in one click. Elsewhere, the WordPress plugin or one script.
Let Whence find your pixel ID
Whence reads your store’s home page and fills in the ID of the Reddit pixel already installed. Otherwise: Reddit Ads > Events Manager > Configure data source > Conversions API > Set up manually: Copy to Clipboard next to the Pixel ID.
Paste your conversion access token
Events Manager > Conversions API > Generate Access Token (a business admin can create it). It is shown only once: copy it right away.
Send a test
Add your test ID and Whence sends a test event, then shows what Reddit answered.
